Privacy
Guessary has no accounts and no cookies. Here is everything we keep.
In your browser
Your results, stats and streaks are saved in this browser, on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
Anonymous counts
When you start, finish or share a daily puzzle, we add one to that day's totals for the game, such as how many games were won and how many players came back the next day. There is no ID and no row per player, and we do not read your IP address for this. Nothing is sent if your browser sets Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
There are two emails, and joining one never adds you to the other.
- The launch list, on the home page. We keep your address and when you added it, to send one email when the games open.
- The daily email, offered after you finish a game. We keep your address, your time zone, so it arrives at 8 in the morning, and the dates it was set up and last sent. Nothing is sent until you confirm from a first email; sign-ups that are not confirmed are deleted after 7 days. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, which deletes your address at once. We do not track opens or clicks.
The daily email is sent for us by Resend, which receives your address and the message. A Cloudflare check that you are a person runs when you send either form. We do not keep your IP address.
